Redx honoured at Institute of Directors Awards

26 February 2016

Redx chief executive Neil Murray has been presented with the 2016 Science and Innovation Award at the North West IoD Director of the Year awards.

The judges recognised the success Redx has had achieving pre-clinical proof of concept across a wide range of therapeutic targets. These drug development programs have relevance for respective therapies to treat MRSA, bone tumours, skin, brain and blood cancers, where Redx has demonstrated superior performance to competitor drugs.

Neil Murray said: We have come a long way in a short few years and I'm grateful for the brilliance, support and inspiration of my fellow directors and everyone at Redx. Our business operates in a global market and drug development, by its very nature, is challenging.

I'm immensely proud of the progress we continue to make and the assets we are developing.

Rachel Smith, NW Regional Director at the Institute of Directors said: These ambitious and inspirational leaders announced as winners in our annual awards reflect the diversity of the North West business landscape.

At the Institute of Directors, we champion regional business success, and support those that are making waves locally, nationally and internationally, across many sectors and sizes.
